A Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body which works with the Pastor regarding all matters pertaining to the pastoral life of the parish. The Pastoral Council involves priests and people in common study and resolution of the pastoral needs of the parish in order to facilitate pastoral planning for the parish, in accord with the universal and particular law of the Church.
The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body of lay persons established to advise the Pastor in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish. Within the Archdiocese of Toronto, Parish Finance Councils were mandated for all parishes by the “Decree” dated March 1986.
Holy Rosary Building Committee is responsible for the care and good maintenance of the church, rectory, hall, and grounds of the Parish. Each Spring and Fall, we walk around the facilities and consult with staff to draw up a list of items needing attention and then work on fixing them. We are a small committee, so can always use more expertise, particularly for carrying out minor facilities repairs.
Holy Rosary Communications Committee supports the parish and its ministries with communications services in print and electronic formats to spread the word of God and connect all parishioners in the life of their parish. The Communications Committee is responsible for live streaming, weekly e-mail messages, the Holy Rosary website, and a variety of printed materials.
